Features:

- Control the Unreal Editor in natural language from any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf): actors, levels, assets, Blueprints, UMG, materials, animation, sequencer, Niagara, GAS, Behavior Trees, geometry, landscape, foliage and more.

- 50 tools, including a reflection catalog of ~5,900 UE APIs reached via search/describe/invoke meta-tools (tracks engine updates on its own, no per-version hand-coding).

- In-process MCP/JSON-RPC server with a game-thread-safe dispatcher (no off-thread crashes); pushes tools/list_changed over SSE for live tool-list refresh.

- Data-driven tool packs (JSON + Python) extend the tool surface with no recompile; open static-analysis review packs.

Code Modules:

- DirektorEditor (Editor)

Important/Additional Notes: Editor-only plugin exposing the running editor to AI assistants over MCP; adds no runtime/gameplay features. Enables these stock engine plugins on install (all bundled with UE, no separate download): PythonScriptPlugin, EditorScriptingUtilities, GeometryScripting, Niagara, EnhancedInput. The MCP server binds 127.0.0.1 (loopback) only and validates Origin; no token or login for local use. run_python is opt-in (off by default). Supports UE 5.0-5.8; some advanced tools are version-gated (Niagara & Behavior-Tree authoring 5.3+, geometry/PCG 5.4+) and return a guided message on older versions.
